Just tried this and the $5/2 coupon beeped and said no match. The cashier said the eye make up remover pads arent a cosmetic product. Funny bc I found them with the cosmetics!?
Almay only makes cosmetic products, nothing else according to their website, so it should of totally worked. I say speak to the manager.

Do you use one or two of the Walgreen coupon?
You use one Wags coupon. The coupon will recognize you bought more than 1 and give you a discount for each. Cool, huh?
Ok, folks…here’s the deal. The Almay makeup removers are 5.49-5.99. Buy 1 , get 1 half off = 8.98 or less- Use the $5 off 2 coupon, then walgreens $2 off-then it will take off $4…now your under $5 and that’s a problem because you can’t discount the tax. You HAVE to add a filler to get it over $5.. They will not be FREE- but still cheap.
The $5/2 coupon didn’t scan for me either. But the cashier was nice enough to enter is manually.
Mine came negative too and she said it had to be an Almay product as a filler since the coupon was for $5 off Almay, not any other “filler”. I ended up getting eyeliner and makeup remover pads both for $1.50, still not bad!
I tried doing this two different times with different people on the clock..first time they wouldn’t take the $5 off coupon because the balance due was less than $4, the second time I tried it by getting the makeup removal pads and eyeshadow by almay.The remaining balance this time was around $6 they still didnt wanna take the $5 coupong saying that the coupon would’nt match because the removal pads weren’t a cosmetic so I tried explaining to the manager how they were with the rest of the makeup, they still refused to take it 🙁
