How did you get a $5 credit? I just signed up as well but I didn’t get a $5 credit.

I think I got it when I signed up, but that was a while back and I hadn’t used it. I was waiting for a deal like this 🙂

You can get this deal FREE. Just buy the deal through a referral link and then you will get your own referral link. If 3 people(friends/family) buy the deal from your link then you get it FREE. So please help me get this deal free. Please!

Beware — a friend and I both had to hound the LivingSocial customer service to get our Me+three=free. We each bought and had three others buy from our link, but we both “happened” to only get two emails confirming friends had purchased. My husband was my #3 and I KNOW he bought from my link. I was my friend’s #3 and I KNOW I bought from her link.

Seems livingsocial isn’t being entirely honest with the “buy three” unless you follow up. Worth the leg work though.

when you me+3=free, did you get the one you originally purchased for free? Or they give you an additional set of tickets for free? Meaning you got charged for the original purchase but still got another set free?

I’m wondering because i did todays deal and I too did not receive my 3rd friend’s email. I tried calling today but they’re already closed. So I was just wondering what I should expect?

They did refund my initial purchase (meaning I got mine free, we paid for my husband’s). When they responded, they told me it was a “one time courtesy.” I was a little annoyed at their response, but ultimately I got the me+three=free. I am a less likely to go for their deals now. Unless it’s something I CANNOT pass up. 🙂

Good luck — stay on ’em!

Well why was it a one time courtesy? You did everything correct in order to receive the me+3=free. So what were they being so “courteous” about?

On my living social homepage, it says I’ve gotten 3 friends to purchase thru my link so I’m getting it for free, but I still didn’t receive the 3rd email. Meanwhile I received the first two instantly!! Also, under my deals it still says I’m going to be charged in 1 business day!

This seems all fishy to me! Ok, we shall see what happens when I talk to them tomorrow!!

Thanks so much for replying!
