YES. Read or print the Walmart Coupon Policy and the Walmart Price Match Policy.
- Does Walmart accept internet printable coupons?
YES, but does NOT accept “FREE” internet printable coupons.
- Does Walmart accept FREE product coupons or Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Coupons?
YES, but the “FREE” coupons will NOT be accepted if they are internet printed coupons. Must have been mailed to you directly from the company, from a newspaper, magazine etc.
- BREAKING UPDATE 3/4/11 Does Walmart accept coupons with a greater value than the price of the item?
YES. For example, if you have a coupon for $3 off product A and product A only costs $2.50, Walmart WILL pay you $0.50 to purchase the item (with your coupon) or the $0.50 may be applied toward the cost of your total purchase.
- Does Walmart accept competitors coupons?
YES, but only if the coupons states an exact price like for example Product A for $2.99. Walmart DOES NOT accept competitor coupons with a dollar/cents/percentage off.
- Does Walmart price-match competitor current weekly ads?
YES. If your Walmart is within 5 miles of the competitor, you will no longer need to bring in the actual ad. If you Walmart is further than 5 miles from the competitor, you will need to bring in the actual ad. All local or lesser-known stores will likely require an ad for a price-match.

I would like to let everyone know that the WalMart in my area will not accept internet printed coupons unless they are in FULL COLOR and have been printed with yellow dots all over the inside of the expiration date box. From what I understand by talking to the employees, this is a company policy. So, even if the rest of the coupon is in color, they will not accept it unless it has those yellow dots in the expiration date box.
in walmarts coupon policy it says Are acceptable in black and white or color, just so you, might want to print that out and take it with you
welcome. I think more and more sertos will eventually do this I hope as the time goes by I think its a good idea. I have checked you out also and love your blog.
I work at a walmart we only allow internet coupons if they scan but if they dont we do not allow them!!
Why will Walmart not accept ad matching for Family Dollar or Dollar General here in Tucson? I hear of lots of others in different areas that their store takes it?

I was just at my local walmart and they said that they do not accept coupons of a greater value than the price of the item. Supposedly the cashier talked to the manager and that’s what he told her to tell me. I have written a email to walmart asking them what the correct policy is and I should hear back from them in a few days but as for now they do not give you cash back.
Probably they changed the policy and no longer offer overage.The one stipulated in their policy is misleading.
I was at Wmart on Mansell Rd. (Roswell, GA) tonight- they would NOT accept Smart Source coupon for $1.00/ Splenda (from manufacturers website)… What’s the issue and why do they HAVE TO BE SO RUDE as they can’t answer my question ??
The Walmart in (milton,Fl) only will accept coupons that scan most internet coupons have a new code that provides more information and the scanners at walmart here wont read it.
All mine showed up item not found. The cashier and supervisor were rude and told it is most likely because to many coupons are in valid. I told to keep their items, i asked a simple question and even brought the article about it. It is not about the coupons, but that I feel you should treat people with respect if you want their business.
How many “like” coupons can be used? I had 4 coupons… got my 4 like items and was told they will accept them this time but normally can you can only use 1. I’ve never had an issue like this before at walmart ….4 has always been accepted no problem.
I just went to walmart and was getting a 10 for $10 item, advertised at another store. The cashier told me that I had to get 10 of the item, where they used to accept just a few at the $1.00 price. I did not find anything pertaining to the 10 for $10 in their policy or price match policy.

No. Competitor Coupons must have an expect price or else Walmart will not accept them. For example, $2.99 for Dial Body Wash.
