CVS should NOT honor expired coupons!! You people are the reason for so much fraud and scams in the store. If a Coupon is EXPIRED it is EXPIRED and the store is under NO obligation in honoring expired coupons.

Other stores won’t accept expired coupons, why suddenly would CVS? Because they don’t! It has a date on it for a reason and if you don’t use the coupon during it’s date that’s too bad! Other-wise CVS would print coupons without expiration dates on them. Cashiers aren’t going to loose their jobs because folks like u want to start thieving from the store. CVS does not accept EXPIRED coupons and neither do other places. Don’t use the coupon in-time too bad!

Your also part the “I get an item” free crowd that comes into these stores too. Nothing in life is for free. If a coupon is expired, it is expired and the stores will not and should not honor an expired deal. Whoever has said CVS accepts expired coupons was probably some customer that got linentancy from a buffoon manager, and it spread and now everyone thinks CVS is suppose to honor expired coupons.

I don’t know where folks like this are getting their facts from but they need to re-check cvs’ store policies. And none of them include accepting “expired” coupons. I know some of you will wait for months for an old coupon you’d never use, then suddenly come into the stores and try to use your month old or two month old coupons. HA!

With bully tactics. It will not work has never work and if you try to get some cashier to force-honor your expired coupons by throwing tantrums or running “to teh managers” guess again, your still not getting it. Once expired, it is expired and a cashier or store is under NO obligation of honoring it. That and your bajillion coupons spreaded out onto multiple cards of your “husbands” or your “sisters” or whoever else has one whom the coupon deal doesn’t even belong to on their card!

Normally as a cashier myself I wouldn’t mind discounts for customers, but folks like you are turning the coupon system into an almost literal scam and when you don’t get your way, you try to bully the cashiers for your out-dated coupons you KNOW you should have used, while completely ignoring the expiration dates.

There are 8 cvs stores that take expired cvs coupons. That is a store coupon so they have the prerogative to do that at their expense. All cvs stores take mf q expired up to a week. That isn’t a scam and if you believe so,I am sorry you are ignorant.

Who pissed you off? There are some scammers but my word, let it go. There always has and always will be scammers. I personally buy for my disabled aunt and my mother.i also donate $20k in cvs items per year to local pantries so not everyone is out to scam. Take a chill pill and go bathe in free calgon.

I just noticed that up above you put “Rite Aid” on here, just so I’m not confused, did you mean to put Rite Aid or CVS? :

“Does CVS accept coupons with a greater value than the price of the item?
YES. For example, if you have a coupon for $3 off product A and product A only costs $2.50, Rite Aid WILL adjust the coupon down, so you’ll end up getting product A for FREE.”

A cashier putting an expired coupon in his pocket supposedly does nothing. Unless they want to be caught at the register putting in a large amount with no coupon then they are stupid. Everything MUST be scanned and the system will NOT take an expired coupon. That is fact. So them putting it in their pocket means nothing but idiocy. The coupon is not even good for any use and the system will not accept it.

CVS ECBs are tracked using your Extracard number and no one but the Extracare card holder can use them. They have your Extracare card number printed on them for this reason.
