Whole Foods will lower prices starting August 28th

Great news for all you Whole Foods shoppers! Amazon, who bought the upscale grocery chain back in June, announced today that Whole Foods will lower prices on some of their best-selling grocery items starting Monday, August 28th. These price cuts will include bananas, organic avocados, organic large brown eggs, organic responsibly-farmed salmon and tilapia, organic baby kale and baby lettuce, animal-welfare-rated 85% lean ground beef, creamy and crunchy almond butter, organic Gala and Fuji apples, organic rotisserie chicken, 365 Everyday Value organic butter, and much more! In addition, Amazon revealed plans to offer Amazon Prime as the customer rewards program at Whole Foods stores, which will come with special savings and in-store benefits. You better watch out, Walmart. Spread the word!
