I want to take this time to thank each and everyone of the affected associates by these store closures. Thank you for your hard work, the long hours away from family, and all your sacrifices. Believe me, I know because my husband is one of those associates. For 27 years we have celebrated birthdays and holidays without him present. But, he is staying positive and I am so proud of him for that. So, stay strong and keep fighting. You’ll never know who you are inspiring!!

Here it is folks!! Second to the last day before our local Walmart store closes. It is so sad because just 11 years ago we saw it go up from the ground to now an empty building. Our favorite local gathering spot for our families, elderly, winter Texans to high school teens. But, we will accept it heads held high knowing everyone has worked long hard hours to provide our community with essential services. We move on to bigger and better things. Thank you everyone.
