UPDATE: IT’S OFFICIAL! Walgreens buys Rite Aid for $9.4 billion dollars! Rumor alert! Walgreens is reportedly in talks to purchase Rite Aid for close to $10 billion dollars! This deal would merge the second and third largest drugstore chains into one company. A deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday (October 28th).
