Hubby went there tonight. We had two $1 off coupons, and since the mac and cheese was only 44 cents at our local target, hubby tried to buy 4 (thinking that the overage would pay for the rest). This was not the case. The coupon adjusted to the 44 cents and only paid for the 2 boxes, no overage – thus hubby had to pay out of pocket 88 cents for the other 2 boxes. Still – 2 free boxes isn’t too bad!! But still – it would have been nice if the coupon overage paid for it all.

      Target doesn’t do overage.

I occasionally get overage at Target. Sometimes the coupon automatically corrects to match the price, sometimes it scans for the full amount, and sometimes the cashier keys in the full amount.
