    Hi,
How do you get the dry erase markers for free when the total is $7.98 and the coupons taken off total $8? My Walgreeens does not accept coupons over the value of the item. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Your store would need to adjust the value of either coupons.

I just tried to use the Expo marker deal also. My Walgreens would not accept them for over the amount either and the cashier said he could not adjust the value of the coupon. So I just added in a cheap candy bar and only ended up paying tax on the markers and a piece of candy for my son. As long as the total amount is more than the coupons, they never have a problem.

Their coupon policy states they MUST adjust the coupon down to the value of the item if it exceeds the value of the coupon. I’d suggest going back, take your coupon policy and kindly tell them to read the rules.
