I printed out 2 $1/1 Scotch Magic Tape coupons and cut one in-ad coupon. I handed in first the in-ad coupon. They said they can’t double the coupon. The final cost is $1.07. And they said since the computer don’t accept it, I can’t use $1/1 Scotch Magic Tape coupons. So I told her to take away one scotch Tape and still use one in-ad coupon and one $1/1 coupon. But they say since the coupon value is higher than the product, the computer still don’t accept it. Sad~ T_T
Patty. Their coupon policy states they are ALLOWED (and should) adjust the coupon down to the price of the item. I’ve gone through this issue many times before. Go ahead and print out their coupon policy at https://couponproblog.com/walgreens for reference while shopping at Walgreens.

Sorry to bother again. I went to the page that you gave me and link to Walgreens’s coupon policy. On their General Guideline, the sixth point says: “The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.” Maybe the price adjustment was the previous policy not the current one?
